Chainmaille.. as it is commonly called, has been around for thousands of years, originally used as armor to gaurd against sword strikes. As the need to fend off the sword faded , so did the art of weaving chainmaille. The Chain Shoppe still practices that art, hand-weaving chains.  Creating chains and jump rings like these requires time, patience, and skill...something a machine made, mass produced item does not.                                     ABOUT OUR  RINGS

  The rings that We offer here at the Chain Shoppe are hand rolled on a steel mandrel, then cut with a liquid cooled,  fine blade jewelers saw to ensure a clean cut. This allows a closure that is free of burrs, and is nearly invisible to the eye when closed properly. After cutting our rings  they are burnished in a jewelry tumbler  to remove any blemishes, and bring them to a brilliant shine...With great confidence... We offer these rings to You.
